So the highlight of the trip was to check out London Fashion Weekend. So now you ask what is London Fashion Weekend? You can explore the life of the fashion insider at this exclusive event, shop the best designer collections and speak to industry experts about their journey to the top. There’s tons to experience in the buzzing atmosphere of the magnificent Saatchi Gallery, home to fashion’s biggest pop-up! We got to experience front row seat at a designer catwalk show & a first look at the key trends of the season.
I was so excited to check out day 1 of London Fashion Weekend, The designers who showcased their SS16 collections in were Emilia Wickstead, Holly Fulton, Mary Katrantzou and Temperley London.
Alice Temperley MBE founded her namesake brand, Temperley London in 2000, a year after graduating from the Royal College of Art. Alice Temperley pioneers artisan techniques and intricate hand worked embellishment; an aesthetic synonymous with her creative style.
Holly Fulton is a womenswear and accessories designer living and working in East London.Born in Scotland, Holly studied in Edinburgh before going on to the prestigious Masters at the Royal College of Art. She established her eponymous label in 2009 after gaining industry experience in London and Paris. The Front Row seats was absolutely epic and the definitely the best spot in the house, we also received a limited edition goodie bag which was filled with awesome stuff!
So all in all it was an absolutely amazing trip! I know it took quiet a while for me to compile a post as I've been crazy busy since I've gotten back.
