Cherry Glamping in Elgin

I got the opportunity to stay at Cherry Glamping for one night and really enjoyed the experience. Hubby and I drove to Elgin which is about +-45 minutes from Cape Town. As we arrived we were welcomed by 3 beautiful Zebras. I've never seen Zebra's in real life before so this was quite a treat for me. As you drive into the campsite you automatically feel the quietness of nature setting in and the beautiful panoramic views of the magical Elgin Valley. This is truely nature at its best!
The campsite has about 12 spacious and fully-furnished bell tents set up in the forest, all with luxurious and comfortable beds made up and ready when we arrived. There's a communal lounge with a comfortable 24 seater table and fireplace perfect for those cold winter nights.
If you interested in some fun activities there's easy access to Elgin's famous wine and fruit valley, the apple town of Grabouw, Botriver, the Overberg, the Whale Route, adventure activities, quad biking, mountain biking and much much more.
Hubby and I had such a nice time braaing and talking. This is a great venue if you wanting to get away from the hussle and bussel of city life and just reconnect.
There really is something for everyone. There's a large, open-air, tent covered deck which is available for functions and parties.
You can stay at this at Cherry Glamping for R2000/tent for 1st night. R2950/tent for 2 nights & then R1250 per night thereafter. Extra beds can be provided at R250.00 per bed per night and you can discuss any further catering options you may have.
